Will Tea Partiers vote for Tea Party Candidates?

I just don't think they can separate themselves from the Republican Party.

You are correct: Thay are all Republicans, or 'Independants' that always vote Republican.

I know you Tea peoples don't like facts, but here are some:

If you do a search on BING for "tea party, arrests" you get 7,020,000 results.

Here is just one (link below for full story)

An Oklahoma man was arrested by FBI agents earlier this month for posting a series of messages on his Twitter account threatening to use a tax day Tea Party protest to commit politically-motivated mass murder.

"The WAR wWIL start on the stepes of the Oklahoma State Capitol. I will cast the first stone. In the meantime, I await the police," wrote Daniel Knight Hayden, 52, according to messages included in the FBI affidavit (posted below).

Another Twitter post began "START THE KILLING NOW!" Yet another: "Send the cops around. I will cut their heads off the heads and throw the[m] on the State Capitol steps," he wrote in one message.

Hayden was arrested for transmitting threats to kill or injure people using interstate communication tools over the internet.

The biggest misconceptions about the Tea Party:

    1. It is NOT named after the Boston Tea Party, but the one Lewis Carroll wrote about.

    2. They are NOT conservatives, but Anarchists, always going on about 'Gov'ment.'

And they are ignorant of basic facts, not realizing how hypocritical they are:

They scream about 'Gov'ment' while cashing their SS checks to buy paint for their misspelled Obama-Hitler signs.

They scream about 'Gov'ment' while driving on the Interstate on thier way to their Tea Party protests.

They scream about 'Gov'ment' while holding their protests in public parks.

    Pathetic creatures.

Tea Partiers - who happen to be Republicans, other Conservatives, Independents, Libertarians, and even Democrats - will be voting for the fiscally-responsible candidates of their individual choice.

Try to understand. This is not a political party, it's a grass roots, spontaneous movement of Americans all over the country. It has a lot of local organizers, a handful of nationally-known organizers, and a lot of supporters such as Palin and Hannity, Limbaugh, Boortz, etc. Palin is a Republican, Boortz is a staunch Libertarian. Does that give you some idea of how diverse this is? These people work all over the country in their locales to find and promote the candidates who honor the Constitution and want to halt the growth of big government. They will go anywhere a conservative candidate needs their help. They have been a wakeup call for this country, and that's why they enrage and scare Obama and Pelosi.

Doug Hoffman (tea party backed candidate) pushed out the republican candidate in NY. Tea Parties are working within the system - they are running their candidates as republicans against incumbent republicans. Charles Perry beat out a state house congressman in Texas - both Republican, Perry - a Tea party candidate, J.D. Hayworth against John McCain, and Mark Rubio is backed by the Tea Party and is beating out his Republican candidate. Scott Brown was backed by the Tea Party and got donations from around the country. There is also Col. Allen West. We are plenty mad at incumbent Republicans too.

They may not separate from the Rep party. But remember, the Rep party is the right hand of the Dem party because the same evil sponsors them. They have to listen to what the TEA want or a third party candidate will will and they don't want that, they want to stay in control

I think they will vote for the candidate that speaks to what they need what they are protesting against, you never know it could be a democrat or independent, its the left that says this is a republican movement, maybe you should actually listen to what the T Party is saying agree or not if your honest and open minded you will see that.

Again I will speak slowly so liberals can understand. The Tea Party will not look at R's and D's. They are looking for any candidate of any party who believes in the Constitution, wants to cut government spending, lower taxes and overturn these recent radical liberal laws.

I agree. Either Republicans or moderate Democrats, but most will stick with the GOP.
