What style do education majors generally use for the their papers? (i.e. MLA, APA, Chicago)?

I'm editing a 10-page document for a Publications Editing final project, but I'm not sure what style I need to conform to. If it helps, the paper has a reference's section instead of a works cited. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Most schools require a specific style, which you could find out by asking. However, if you stick to one format without varying you'll probably be OK with whatever you choose.

It depends on your school or teacher; usually MLA, or APA

Mine were all MLA. If your teacher didn't specify I would use MLA. It's pretty standard.
