why does cigar smoke look blue from the ember and white out of your mouth?

    The color is related to the size of the particles. The smaller particles are blue (as in the sky). I guess they pick up moisture from your mouth and are larger when you exhale. Interesting observation.

    It looks blue when it's more concentrated, right out of the cigar. When you puff on it, you mix it with air, turning it white.
