"Time To Shine" Theme perfectly suits The Extreme Rules PPV? A couple of WQ questions?
I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get ripped on for this question, but what ever, but I felt this theme was perfect for the PPV. Let me just say, I am a huge wrestling fan and I love the rock genre. So whenever WWE chooses a theme song for a PPV, I get so intrigue.
So my theory is that the song by Saliva (my favorite band) "Time to Shine" from the Moving Forward in Reverse album was perfect for the PPV. Sure, it wasn't "extreme" like Bodies by drowning pool, but if you look at the lyrics, it suits the PPV. Although the PPV was not "hardcore" the truth is, it was the night of younger stars. Hart Dynasty won the #1 contendership for the tag titles. Joey Mercury debuts as a part of SES. JTG and Shad showed two very talented singles competititors. Swagger actually beat Orton and Sheamus just got the biggest push (not the title win) of his career. The guy that took out HHH. So if you look past the entire, "there was nothing extreme about it," argument, "you can see that WWE is really focusing on pushing its young stars now, which is the point of the song, "Time to Shine."
The reason I bring this up is because most of the time, the themes don't suit the PPV at all and I think its stupid, and its cool to see coincidence like that happen. What are your thoughts on the Extreme Rules PPV, and was there a song that WWE used that you felt suited the PPV perfectly?
And so no one bites my head off, some wrestling questions.
WQ: Were you disappointed that CM Punk didn't get shaved?
WQ: Did you feel that Jericho's springboard Codebreaker should had just ended the match?
WQ: Are you glad to hear that Batista will stick around for a few more weeks so his career doesn't end with duct tape?
and for you TNA fans, Do you actually like how RVD is being used? In my theory, he is becoming the new Cena of TNA. He has been having multiple matches in less then a week and has won them all (superman), has been taking up a lot of air time from younger stars (Cena hogging the spotlight), has flat out said that he refuses to put over young stars (something Cena is okay with), and is being rewarded for simply being there and signing the contract (atleast Cena works his *** off). No offense, but I personally feel that TNA should had paced it, but instead, they rushed it, and chances are, wrestlers backstage will start hating on RVD, and so would fans cause he is like Cena now (yes, he is more talented, but still). Your thoughts?
And check out the song. Its pretty awesome. Just saying.

Yes, "Time to Shine" was a great song for this Extreme Rulz I liked the
song from last years Backlash in April "Hunt you Down" during the HHH
and Randy Orton feud the WWE always seems to choose the very best
songs for all of their pay per view world wrestling entertainment events.
WQ: Were you disappointed that CM Punk didn't get shaved? Yes, very
I would of liked to see him get shaved bald so he could match up with all
of his Baldies in the Straight Edge Society heel stable on Smackdown.
WQ2: Did you feel that Jericho's springboard Codebreaker should had just
ended the match? Yes, that would of been a great Finisher for Chris Jericho
both he and Edge performed a great match at the Extreme Rulz pay per view
event he could of done the springboard Codebreaker then escaped the Cage.
WQ3: Are you glad to hear that Batista will stick around for a few more weeks
so his career doesn't end with duct tape? Yes, I was hearing on 24 Wrestling
.com which is a very reliable source that was going to be Batista's last match
at Extreme Rulz now they are saying that Batista is going to leave the WWE
in a month they say that he's been wanting to retire and just do movies I did
get to see "The Wrong Side of Town" it was a good decent movie independent
film straight to Dvd release. Batista is mad because the WWE was going to
cast him in the lead in a new movie role instead the gave the role to Triple H.
I think thats why they drafted Chris Jericho and Edge over to Raw because
they needed some new Top Heels on Raw and Batistas contract is almost up.
BQ:) I disagree with that statement. You can't compare John Cena to Rob Van
Dam. Remember back in 2006 at ECW One Night Stand Rob Van Dam beat
John Cena and he was the Undisputed Champion being the WWE Champion
and ECW World Heavyweight Champion the only man in history to ever hold
both of those prestigious titles simultaneously. Rob Van Dam is an amazing
gifted unique wrestler he's a great wrestler and at least he has more than five
of the same moves that John Cena does. I always did want to see that dream
match of AJ Styles vs. Rob Van Dam and it took place on a high rating of the
TNA Monday Night Impact!. We don't know yet what is going to happen with
Jeff Hardy his trial got postponed to I think mid May 2010 now if the decision
would of been made to make Jeff Hardy the new World Heavyweight Champion
and then he's going to face charges in his court trial that wouldn't workout they
would end of taking the belt away from him so they made the right decision for
what worksout best for the TNA Wrestling company and this helps them move
foward in the right positive direction. I think the only person in TNA Wrestling
that people hate in Ken Kennedy "Mr. Anderson" other than that there are talks
about Paul Heyman joining TNA and starting an ECW stable with the Original's
from Extreme Championship Wrestling they might bring in Tommy Dreamer.

Its time now..........for the next generation to have their "Time to Shine".
WWE has finally realized to push their younger superstars not like TNA.
