If you sit on a spoon it is not bad luck, it is only bad luck if you sit on one and talk about it. It says right here on this site www.oldsupernaturalsuperstitionsandextremities/badluck/spoon.com that you will have a lifetime of bad luck and be cursed with premature ejaculation. (The website is written by professors, and the whole thing is proven by science)
