Believers in God/Allah/YHWH and atheist's is it possible that...?

Yeshuah Messiah or Jesus as so many of you call Him for some reason, didn't pray to YHWH and actually came here to preach the message of another God? It seems to me that the God that Yeshua speaks of sounds nothing like the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Is it possible that the God who created this universe and mankind is actually a false god and has tricked mankind into worshipping him instead of the real God and has trapped mankind in this physical existence to keep man worshipping him? Is it possible that all the jews, christians, and muslims have been decieved into worshipping an evil and vengeful god and all the violence being carried out today by them is due to the fact that they are worshipping a false god? Can any of you show me a place in the scriptures where Yeshua explicitly says that he prays to YHWH or thatYHWH is his God? If this was true and YHWH/Allah is not the true and living God wouldn't that make the current state of the world and it's religions all the more easier to understand?

Yes, you are correct again, whether others believe you are wrong or lost is them expressing their free will to think as they've been taught by worldly men who love this world we live in.

I've been in Gods light and heard his voice call my name. In both, the light and the voice, is a love that can't be explained in just simple terms. What I felt, was an unconditional love that bears no vengeance, praise, sacrifice or division. When one has truly been in the presence of a God this world knows nothing of, they will follow no other man or religion. There is a God above all. Yet, it's much easier to believe in a God that hates, wants praise, and demands to be paid through wars, blood sacrifices and a limited spiritual growth that stunts men's minds so as not to wander to close near the truth, that would set them so free of this world, they wouldn't know what to do with themselves.

God bless you and your questions. Not many like to think for themselves in here. It's nice to see a true intellect not afraid to ask beyond the box men put themselves and their God in. My God expands infinity and beyond and his powers are unlimitable for the Good.

Those who believe in no God whatsoever, are truly lost in more ways than one.

Actually, there was some debate about this in some of the early Greek translations of the New Testament, eventually all such references were stricken and the concept was considered heresy. The problem here is that these are monotheistic religions and the very idea that there is more than one god leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Even though one can always say that the other guy's god is a false god eventually one has to question whos god is the real one. So in the interest of living together in a constant state of flux we decide that these three are one. India, land of 66,000,000 gods are considered Pagan and written off. By the way the word "pagan" just means one who resides in the country and actually has nothing to do with belief structure. Agrarian societies often had multiple gods named for their function ie god of the fields, god of wine, god of the sea.

The Hebrews and Muslims both have multiple names for God dependent upon what God is doing at the moment. Islam has 1,000 names for God and Hebrew has 72 although the system by which they (Hebrews) use could conceivably generate many more names.

So, if the same god does different things based on what you call him or different gods with different names act according to the character of that name, what is the difference?

Could any of these primitive people be fooled by an advanced Alien race into thinking that they were in fact gods?

Ordinary men got a lot of mileage out of being able to predict eclipses. The Spanish got a lot out of having gunpowder in South and Central America.

God may have created the world but it is man that has created religion. It has been used to control and subjugate people for longer than we have history.

I dont know how many times I have to say this. If you look closely, every religion (save atheism) has some similarities, so think about this: Every religion is right in some respect. Every religion has a Creator,he Destroyer,Death, Demons (in some form) and an afterlife. (like I said, except for atheism, which believes that nothing is after death). Judgement lies with the creator in most religions. Instead of worrying about which god is which, think about what you believe. In every religion, there are two main sins. These sins are doubting your beliefs, and turning your back on the religion all together. Just stick with your beliefs and you will find true enlightenment. Like the native americans say:

Honor the Christ, and Respect the Bhudda.

To find the original Greek or Hebrew name of God (YHWH) you will have to research the scriptures in the original form. As Theologians have been doing this for centuries, it would be imperative to use a concordance. However let me give you a site that may be helpful in your questions.

John 14:6 Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Rev 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

1 Tim 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

Acts 7:32 'I AM THE GOD OF YOUR FATHERS, THE GOD OF ABRAHAM AND ISAAC AND JACOB.' Moses shook with fear and would not venture to look.

Matt 6:9 "Pray, then, in this way:

'Our Father who is in heaven,

    Hallowed be Your name.

OK... Let's say for a minute that I accept your ideas, then who is the real Creator/G'od? Anyway I'd rather be an Atheist than believing in a different G'od. Because He wouldn't have died for me. And I do not know this god that you are talking about!

You can choose to believe Historical evidences for J'esus or reject them but they are still there!

Evidence for J'esus outside the Bible:

Tacite, Roman Historian Sueton, Pline the young, Epictete, Lucien, Gallien, Aristide, Lampridius, Dion Cassius,Hinnerius Libanius, Ammianus, Marcelin, Eunape, Zosime, Lucien, Celse, Porphyre, Hierocles and even Julian the Apostate who wrote a full book on Him. Many other Jewish including the Talmud quote Him in no elogious terms, that's true!

(Translation from French, sorry if it's not too accurate)

Poncius Pilate wrote, "Herode, Archelaus and Philip, Anne & Caiaiphas, and the whole people sent him to me, begging me to judge him. I didn't find find any evidence of any crime in him. However, after having him flogged I ordered him to be crucified. At the time of his death, darkness covered the whole earth, the sun darkened around noon and there were stars with little shine that could be seen in the sky. Even the moon didn't give any light."

F.F. Bruce, professor of Biblical critic and exegesis at the University of Manchester said, "Some authors dream the fantastic idea of the myth of J'esus without any historical basis for it. For an impartial Historian J'esus' existence is as obvious as that of Julius Caesar. It isn't the Historians who propagate the theories of the myth of Christ."

Julian the Apostate, who wanted to destroy Christianity, confirmed in his book that J'esus was born during Augustus' reign at the time of the Judean census by Cyrene.

i basically won't be able to recover from the double prevalent I see right here in a number of those solutions. Why is it that an atheist gets the data he/she desires to have self assurance in God and grow to be a Christian, and that they are suggested to in no way have been a actual atheist in the 1st place, yet a Christian became atheist is in no way puzzled as being a "actual" Christian via different atheists. it incredibly is a risk an atheist can get the data he desires to transform. that comparable data will possibly no longer artwork for others yet is adequate for people who've won it.

I sometimes wonder if this is not the real HELL we are now living in. The say GOD is love, yet we kill each other in the name of GOD. The religions as far back as it has been found written - we have showed it to be a different GOD we worship. A GOD of pain and death.

    How come?

    Dear Doubting Thomas,

All I can tell you is that God challenges us to "TEST HIM." Have you done that? I can only tell you from human experience that I took God's challenge by testing his validity . I repented of my sins, I follow very closely to his Laws/commandments and I believe fully that I have the righteous and proper God. If he's "Tricking" me, it's all in my favor and goodness. And if he's "tricking" me we are all fooling ourselves and there is no chance for a future with God in Heaven, which means that we then have nothing to lose by believing and trusting.....If he's "tricking" us, then your comment is probably right, which means there is no Heaven and all this is fake and I've lost nothing in the interim....

So who stands to lose more, you for doubting there is a real and true God or me for believing in something that might not exist.....Who stands to gain more if there IS a God in Heaven?

When I first realized Christianity wasn't very reliable or 'true', I thought that. I think there's one version of the Gnostic faith that thinks that way.

But, I am an atheist b/c 1. individuals do not create life and 2. even if Jesus was refering to another god/desses, there still is no proof and plenty of awful things that could have been avoided (like Plagues, false religions) still happened AFTER his supposed lifetime.

Although this smacks of Tomb Raider - it is interesting bacause of a triangular gold tablet - bearing "the true name of God"

"In Antiquities of the Jews, Josephus, in the first century, wrote that Enoch of Old Testament fame constructed an underground temple consisting of nine chambers. In a deep vault inside one chamber with three vertical columns, he placed a triangular-shaped tablet of gold bearing upon it the absolute name of the Deity (God ). "

This would imply that the names commonly used may not be the one !
