How to I obtain my youtube video ID?

The message board I am trying to post a video on says I need to copy and paste my youtube video ID. How do I find that? The prompt says "Enter a youtube ID (not the whole URL)"

    Presumably, that would be the 11 characters

    that distinguish your video from all the others.

    As an example, look at what is after the "?v=":

    www . youtube . com / watch ? v = aB1cD2eF3gH
