Toddler taking her diaper off when she wakes up?

I have been waking up in the morning and going into my daughters room and she would have taken her diaper off. Normally I catch it before she pisses the bed but this morning her diaper was off and it doesn't even look like she went in the diaper. She had peed the bed at least three times. It might be a fase or something but I am sick and tired of cleaning it up. I would like advise on how to prevent this issue. I am pregnant with my second child and soon I am not going to be able to bend over into the crib. Also the smell of her pee and poop is making me nauseous. Please no rude comments just tell me how to prevent her taking her diaper off and peeing the bed. And no she isn't ready to potty train. She has none of the signs to potty train.

Update:

No I don't put toys in her crib except the onestuffed animal she loves. If I put toys in her crib she wouldn't go to sleep at night.

Update 2:

She takes her clothes off too so I haven't been putting pajama bottoms on her at night because she just takes that off and the diaper.

She can't potty train until she tells me "mommy I pooped or peed" That is the number one thing that tells a parent they are ready to potty train.

try putting the diaper on backwards, or maybe her pj's on backwards that way she can't take them off to get the diaper off.

I too have a daughter that has learned to take her diaper off in the Morning...my Bf and I tried many things and have come up with a fool proof way to getting her to keep it on. When we get her ready for bed we put two diapers on her...the first one we out on right and the second one we put on backwards and then we put her PJ's on...so far she has kept her diaper on...its been a littler over a month! GOOD LUCK! BTW we have started doing the same with my son...he has picked up on his sisters Habit!

Maybe the diapers are uncomfortable. Maybe try a new brand that are softer and more absorbent so she doesn't feel the need to take them off.I would say she doesn't like a wet diaper in the morning, but if its dry sometimes, that may not be the case. Also, she may be bored. Are there any toys in the crib she could play with? She also may have learned that's how to get you in there to get her; take diaper off, mommy comes to get me.

Try pull up diapers or absorbent bed mats to protect the bedding.

Don't let this become a battle of will's between you.

And get cracking with the potty training. My own son had dry nights from the 18 / 19 month stage.

Try a one-piece pajama that completely covers the diaper area, or a onesie that does not have the snaps at the bottom. She will not be able to get out of it, and will not be able to get to the diaper. Also, you may want to invest in a waterproof mattress cover (that way there are only sheets to change, and nothing soaks through to the mattress).

They don't make backwards sleepers as far as I know, you just have to put them on that way. You could also use masking or duct tape to circle around her diaper once covering the tabs and ending the tape in the back so she can't get to it.

does she wear pants and a shirt as pjs? or a gown? if she doesn't wear pants, i would suggest you do that...

my son did that, only if he wasn't wearing pants over his diaper...does she do this during the day as well? if so, i would suggest that when you see her diaper partially off, you smack her hand...and tell her no no...

it's not harsh as long as you don't hit her hard, but don't go too soft...the point is she needs to learn to no no touch...i did that for my son and now, he doesn't have to wear pants and he doesn't touch his diaper...

diapers can be uncomfortable sometimes for them...she may not like the feel of them wet on her, either...maybe try a different kind of diaper?

My 19 month old just started to discover that he can take his nappy off and its lots of fun!! I just put little boys undies over the top of his nappy, the smallest size you can find in the shops should fit nice and snug. Also use the one piece suits as they have alot of trouble getting out of these!!

Make her wear something that helps her from taking out the diaper, like shorts or something

LMAO @ your choice of words - "Normally I catch it before she pisses the bed..."

Put on a onesie so that is keep the diaper away from her reach.
