  • What kind of questions should I ask the FBI agent I have an informative interview with?

I have an informative interview with an FBI agent that my career adviser from the college I graduated from set up for me. I am looking into possibly wanting to become a FBI police officer. I have general questions I would like to ask but I don't want to ask just a couple of questions and that be it. I would like to ask a couple more smart questions but I'm drawing a blank. Any suggestions?

  • Name for a pure white boy kitten?

I have a all white kitten. My sister thought he was a girl and named him sugar but I just recently found out he is actually a boy and don't think the name sugar fits him. He is a very sweet kitten, somewhat skid-dish but has come out of his shell in the last couple of weeks. He purrs a lot and enjoys attention. I'm looking for a name for this kitten. Any suggestions would be nice.

  • Why does my 2 1/2 month old scare so easily?

My son is almost 3 months old and he scares extremely easily. I also have a 3 year old and she was never like that as an infant. My son will hold his fists so tight to his chest and scream like ah.. ah.. ah.. ah.. type of cry with his eye extremely wide. When I got to change his clothes or sometimes even change his diaper he will do this. There are times where he won't sit in his bouncer or definitely the swing he will sit there and scream. I don't understand why he is more scared than most babies get at this age. I know things are still fairly new to my baby but it seems everything is more scary to him than it should be. Can anyone help me understand?

  • 4 week old with a cold?

My son will be 4 weeks old on Friday. He was fine a couple of days ago but now he has a runny nose and coughing more than usual. So I think he has a cold. I plan on calling the doctor in the morning but I wanted to get other mother's opinions. Is there anything I can do for my son? He is sleeping more than usual to. I don't know if he is only just starting to sleep through the night or if it's the cold. Any suggestions?

  • Is it normal to lose your appetite after birth?

I have given birth 8 days ago. I haven't wanted to eat much since. I hate a bunch right after but didn't want anything. Lately I do get hungry but I don't want anything. Today I haven't eaten yet which is not healthy since the human body needs 3 meals a day but I'm just not hungry. I was wondering if this was normal and if my appetite will come back?

  • Why is my 2 y/o scared of everything now and never used to be?

My daughter used to never be scared of anything. Last year during Halloween and Christmas the decorations and everything never scared her before she even wanted to check the decorations out. Now Halloween decorations scared her even the cute little stuff. It seems as Christmas stuff is coming out now she is scared of that stuff too. Trick or treat night she didn't get scared at all but the decorations at stores scared her. My husband even experimented once at the store. We went to the pet section at wal-mart and showed her a stuffed animal that dogs play with and she screamed and didn't want to be near it. Now tonight my husband's guy friend stopped by and she started screaming and went and hid in the kitchen. She has seen this friend about 2 months ago and was even climbing all over him playing around but now she doesn't even want to come near him.

  • Why does my 2 year old act really poorly?

Most days my daughter usually is pretty good but lately and more frequently she has been acting very poorly. If I ask her to not do something she cry like I yelled at her. If I asker to do something she will cry like I yelled at her. When she goes to eat supper she knows how to use a fork and eat the food herself but lately she wants my husband or I to feed her. I notice she acts ike this a lot over at my moth-in-laws house but at home she will be independent. Now she wants everything handed to her or she will cry about it. I don't understand did I do something wrong for her to be acting like this? I don't want any rude comments about anything I just would like other mothers perspective and advise.

  • Is your tailbone supposed to hurt at 36 weeks pregnant?

I am 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Usually I have normal back pain especially at night since I have a 2 year and I am up on my feet pretty much all day but this morning I woke up and my tailbone hurts. When I am sitting down it doesn't hurt as bad but when I get up and walk around my tailbone hurts. Is it normal? I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday so I was going to ask him then about it but I wanted other people's opinion.

  • Am I being paranoid or could there be something mentally wrong with my 2 year old?

There are so many instances I could right down. Sometimes my daughter acts like she is really smart but other times which happens a lot lately, she acts like she has no clue. I'll ask her to hand me the bag and she will look at me like she has no clue what I am talking about and I'll ask her again in a different way and she'll hand me a lego or another toy. I'll then get up and show her what I meant and she'll all of a sudden cry like I yelled at her. Another time I asked her to get her sippy cup for me and she looked everywhere else besides where I pointed at. Earlier today she started getting mad at a particular toy which was a small bag. She was getting mad at it because she over stuffed it and couldn't zip it up. I then told her it isn't going to fit the bag is to small. I fraised the sentence so many different times because she looked at me like she had no clue what I was saying. She then continued to cry because she couldn't get the zipper closed. Is there something wrong with her mentally? I am going to tell her pediatrion about my concurns the next time I have an appointment but I wanted to get other people's opinion on it too. My daughter is 2 years and 4 months old. Let me know what you think and please no mean or stupid comments just an opinion on what you think of the situation. Thank you.

  • Anyone else's due date in December but want the baby to come early?

I am due a week before Christmas and my husband and I feel that it isn't fair to the baby that his Birthday will be over shadowed by Christmas. Right now I am 32 weeks pregnant. Does anyone think that the doctors will consider letting the baby come early or inducing labor once it's safe enough for the baby to make it on his own?

  • Why is every now and then nap time such a struggle?

My daughter is two years old and usually when I tell her it's nap time and we go to her room and tuck her in she will usually go to sleep and take a nap for an hour, but every now and then she won't go to sleep and she will spend an hour to two hours in her room in her crib playing. When this happens I'll go in her room yell at her to go to sleep and she will but occasionally she won't sleep period and I get so frustrated that I'll give up after two hours. How can I get her to understand that when I tell her to do something I expect her to do it. Most times she will look at me like she doesn't understand me and she look at me like I'm stupid. Please help...

  • When we graph the inequality 4x - 3y > 0, why can't we use (0, 0) as a test point?

When we graph the inequality 4x - 3y > 0, why can't we use (0, 0) as a test point? If we test the point (6, -5), do we obtain a false statement or a true one?

  • Kitten without a name?

My cat had five kittens 8 weeks ago and I found homes for all but one and my husband and I decided to keep him but the thing is we still don't have a name for him. He has a unique trait about him that his brothers and sister didn't have. He was born with a nubby tail. My husband came up with Nubby but I don't want a name to make fun of him. He is black and white and is a very sweat kitty. Any suggestions on a name??

  • Toddler taking her diaper off when she wakes up?

I have been waking up in the morning and going into my daughters room and she would have taken her diaper off. Normally I catch it before she pisses the bed but this morning her diaper was off and it doesn't even look like she went in the diaper. She had peed the bed at least three times. It might be a fase or something but I am sick and tired of cleaning it up. I would like advise on how to prevent this issue. I am pregnant with my second child and soon I am not going to be able to bend over into the crib. Also the smell of her pee and poop is making me nauseous. Please no rude comments just tell me how to prevent her taking her diaper off and peeing the bed. And no she isn't ready to potty train. She has none of the signs to potty train.

  • Why is my 2 year old daughter taking her clothes off?

When I put my daughter down for bed I change her diaper and also change her into her pajamas. She has started taking them off whenever I disappear from the room. She also does it when I lay her down for a nap. Sometimes I go back in and either catches her, her shirt is so tangled she is stuck, or all her clothes are off except the diaper. It isn't hot in her room so she isn't taking them off to cool down. Why is she doing it and how can I prevent it?
