Is your tailbone supposed to hurt at 36 weeks pregnant?
I am 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Usually I have normal back pain especially at night since I have a 2 year and I am up on my feet pretty much all day but this morning I woke up and my tailbone hurts. When I am sitting down it doesn't hurt as bad but when I get up and walk around my tailbone hurts. Is it normal? I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday so I was going to ask him then about it but I wanted other people's opinion.

Unfortunately it can hurt as you're experiencing it now. For some women, they are lucky enough to not go through the extra pains of pregnancy. There is more pressure on your lower back and that's whats getting to you. Feel better (I know easier said then done), and take a Tylenol if the pain gets really uncomfortable.

Unfortunately yes, I ended up breaking my tail bone during delivery because the pressure and pushing for over 2 hours was too much for it, it hurt for a couple months after too
