How do you get burn smell out of a microwave?

My son incinerated a corn dog in the microwave and now it smells like the world's largest ash tray. Is there something I can do or use to get the odor out?

I would try baking soda like they tell you to put in the refigerator. Or what if you leave the door open say overnight?

Cut up a lemon in a bowl of water and micro wave it on high for 3-4 minutes.Excellent way to clean it,especially greasy build up.

I'd go with the baking soda. Also I heard somewhere that vinegar is an odor eraser. Either that, or an odor replacer lol.

try spraying frabrezze or something that would make the smell go away or put something like syrup and let it stick for a couple hours and then wash it

you can also try vanilla extract and some water in a mug

microwave for one minute and let it sit in there until cool...about an hour

Try a open box of baking soda. Leave it in the oven when not in use. I might take awhile but it is non toxic. We use it in our refrigerator. Good luck.

Wash it or buy a new one
