DDR3 1600 On m/b that only supports 1600 @ O/C?
If I install a module of DDR3-1600 on a motherboard that only supports 1600 when overclocked, will it run at 1333mhz so I can overclock it to 1600 or will it just refuse to work? Quick answers appreciated, many thanks. :)

It will definitely run. Until you try it, you won't know if the default speed is 1333 or 1600. Once it's running, you can manually change the timings in BIOS if needed
If this is an intel board, and your memory has the XMP feature, it will automatically start out at 1600. That's convenient, but not critical.
