Eventually... Especially since it would be such a cash cow for the state and feds to tax it like they tax alcohol and tobacco.

It was ONLY criminalized because Hemp was such a huge competitor of the cotton industry and the idea that it was dangerous was being pushed with racist feelings towards blacks and latinos saying that it "Made" minorities rape white women...

    I'm not kidding...

Go to googlevideo and check out "The History Channel: Hooked - Illegal Drugs & How They Got That Way"

    Fascinating.

It is just disgusting how the American Public has swallowed the propaganda that Marijuana is as dangerous as crack...

Alcohol, the accepted drug of choice for America, is - with no exaggeration - 100x worse for body, mind, family, and culture than marijuana.

Marijuana is addictive to a small percentage of people that are genetically predisposed to addiction and when you get addicted to Marijuana, that addiction is profound...

    BUT

When only about 5% of ALL PEOPLE that already have the genes for true addiction, that means that 100% of people with the addiction gene can get hooked on booze while only 5% of them can get addicted to weed.

So 40% of ALL people in the US have the potential for addiction... Of that 40%, only 5% can possibly get addicted to marijuana...

How is it that the rest of the population of the country should not be allowed to use marijuana recreationally, same as how all americans over the age of 21 can legally use alcohol?

Then you get in to the whole "Green Movement" and consider that Hemp, the non psychotropic breed of marijuana and also the byproduct of breeding for the psychotropic properties, grows faster and using less resources than cotton AND the seeds contain a large amount of nutritious oils and can be ground in to flour.

I'm not saying that hemp can save the world... But it is better as an agrocultural product than cotton, which has toxins in the seeds so they can't be used as food other than in small amounts to animal feed...

AND the "Anti" leftist whack-jobs have prevented the GM Cotton Seed to be distributed to Asia and Africa... The GM part is that they removed that toxin from the seeds so that they can be ground in to flour for use by both humans and livestock.

So we have the Nutter-Right fighting Hemp... we have the Nutter-Left fighting cotton... We have all these people using flawed propaganda which is just fu*king everyone.
