How would you like a website to be laid out?
As far as layout and content would you rather have an information laden website such as yahoo's homepage? Or something simplistic like google? More specifically, I'm speaking in regards to a website containing recipes, but I used the yahoo vs. google as an analogy.

Since it's recipes-related, I would prefer it laid out with category links, with a "recipe du jour" feature in the center, to attract daily return viewers, not too busy, but certainly not empty like google
