Good tips from everyone else... You can also call your pharmacist, but many of them will say to check with the doctor lol.
I would personally avoid ALL medicine if possible. If you have to take something from the "safe" list... I'd go with half the dose and see if it makes it at least tolerable. .. That goes for everything except antibiotics. If the doctor gives you antibiotics to treat something, make sure to take all of it exactly like it says.. or you risk the infection getting worse and harder to treat.

your doctor will give you a list of everything you can and cannot take.
If for some reason you don't have one you can always call your doctor a phone call is free and just seconds away.

they'll give you a list at the doctors office, but basically all you can have is Tylenol for pain, tums for heartburn, and benadril for allergies
