Moto2. After 2 races, what are you thoughts?

With the new introduction of the Moto2 class now two races gone, what are you first thoughts.

I'll be honest, I really was not keen on the idea to start with, but now I'm really liking it. Yesterdays Jerez round was great. Good to see Tiger Toni winning again.

The engine rule is really working out well for equal performance too, it really makes to teams work well on final gearing, fairings & chassis set ups.

Shame its a one make tyre rule, but again, it keeps it equal.

So, whats your thoughts on the new '250cc' racing? I for one, really like it. Shame 4 strokes dont smell as nice as stroker's on full throttle !!

[ i have too agree, couldn't see the point of it when it was announced. but the race at Jerez had everything, what with the accident at drysack, so early in the race it could have been a lot worse.. and Kenny Noyes overtaking move it, and leading briefly was great to watch..and no engine limitations, could be the one to watch.....<^><..

both good races, very good races. But im still reserving judgment. It may end up just being the same riders in the same places, depending how it develops through the season. at the moment its got more riders running up front than the 250s had, But the 250s still gave great racing, lets get a few more races done and come back to this one. Im not convinced at the moment that this will be the stepping stone to GP, maybe WSBK will provide more riders and this will be where used GP riders end up.

    But so far- Great racing.
