Jerez testing (MotoGP)?

The engine's used for testing are not included in the 6 engine rule. I got this information from one of Valentino Rossi's mechanic's so it is correct. So the amount of laps did not reflect any thought towards the rule. My guess is the rider and team did not feel the need to do so many laps and were happy with the data they were collecting.

I got a 'tweet' from Alex Briggs ( Rossi's head spanner man ) that the testing programme is not part of the 6 engine deal. Hence such a small amount of laps in 2 days. It took Rossi nearly 4 hours to get on track. Too many changes to make !

Hello Proc, I went to the MotoGP website and I found results for 250's and 125 only. I thought these were only available with a subscription, but I also don't see MotoGP results.

[ i was wondering about the testing, as to whether it cut into riders allocations or not, i would have thought they might be allowed a 'rebuild'. if they have too limit the number of laps, then the data gathering would have to be pretty intense to make it worthwhile.!.if you crash during testing you can really damage your season....<^><....
