Is the "Dez Bryant's mother" situation getting overblown?

I am tired of hearing about this story. Is it an insulting question? YES. However, I believe that if a football team is going to invest millions of dollars in someone, they should have the right to know about ANY and ALL potential distractions that could hinder their investment.

...you should hear some of the questions that other players have received over the years. This whole situation is drama personified, since every person has about five different angles to the story. Now Bryant's mom is demanding an apology from the Dolphins.....I gather the next step may be a "defamation" lawsuit; it sounds like the family wants to get paid.

    How about Dez's father?

Should he get an apology for Dez saying he was a pimp?

The whole thing is way over blown for sure.

But once the media gets their teeth in it, that is what happens.

Don't worry, all focus will turn to Favre again as usual.

    hehehe...overblown...I get it...overblown....blown...that's awesome. You're clever.

Dez Bryant is a liar that has proven that he isn't afraid to lie when he thinks he's been caught cheating. Which, if you think about it, means that he doesn't have a problem with cheating. I don't care about him, his family, or his mother. He's a liar and a cheat and that's all I need to know about him.

And, sure, a team should ask whatever they want. Nobody is forcing the player to answer.

We never should have heard about it. Dez Bryant is the one who made it public so it's all his fault. If he was truly upset about it, he should have told his agent and have the agent work it out with the Dolphins.

Let's not forget, this was the same idiot who was declared ineligible by the NCAA for lying to an investigator.

WAY overblown. Makes you wonder if SI was telling the truth too. Of course Dez would deny that he said his dad was a pimp and she worked for him, or whatever exactly he denied of it.

No appology is necessary (or even warranted for that matter)

If she wasn't "Working for a Pimp", her son wouldn't have to answer these kind of questions now would he?

honestly, I think this kind of thing will follow this guy his entire career. Think Terrell Owens Jr..

Yes it is! The media is the biggest whore in this

It's always fun to watch a poster ask a yes/no question AND THEN answer the question himself with both "YES" and "NO" in the same question.

5 points VERY well spent. Meanwhile, thanks for the 2 points.
