I am trying to copy files (pictures) from a second hard drive to the first,?
if I hi-lite more than one file to use the "Copy to" function, it says "cannot read from the source file" one by one its fine. There are hundreds. (windows xp)

Select all your files. Right click and click on SEND TO... and select the drive you want to transfer the files to.
OR
Create a New Folder and transfer all the files first into that folder and then transfer that entire folder into your other drive.
