My speakers won't play any sound from any live streamed video, what can I do?
They work on games online, music from iTunes and Media Player. It will basically play it from everything except for videos from youtube and so on.
It works on everything except for most livestreamed videos. I have Windows Vista. It's on Internet Explorer and i already have the latest version of flash.

I see questions just like yours every couple days on Yahoo about vids with NO SOUND,
so I recently did a whole lot of Googling, searching, reading
and poring over dozens of discussion threads and websites,
only to realize that there are no definitive answers out there.
The only semblance of a part-solution which kind of worked
for a few people would require you to either:
1 -- fool around with your registry (which I am really against,
because that could screw up your computer);
2 -- download some utility (which I'm also against, because
that kind of stuff is what maybe caused your problem in the
first place).
As such, I advise you to first clear your "Cookies", "History"
and "Temporary Internet Files", thus making your computer
"fresh" in YouTube's eyes. My infamous "CHTIF" triple-cure
has resolved hundreds of YouTubers' problems. So why not
yours. Be sure to shutdown/reboot after doing this:
Internet Explorer 7:

→ Delete history → OK
→ Close (browsing history window)
→ OK
Internet Explorer 8:

To clear your "cache" within IE 6, Safari, or Google Chrome,

If that does not do the trick, here's some other suggestions:
♦ If you've got any stupid "video accelerator", kill it because
they all conflict with YouTube. Also, many Torrents, pop-up
blockers, and Instant Messengers create YouTube troubles.
♦ There could also be conflicts with other video players that
you have installed (such as iTunes, Windows Media Player,
Real Player and QuickTime). Check all of their volumes too.
♦ The newer versions of Flash are frustrating a whole bunch
of YouTubers. Most updates are typically good for only one
thing...software conflicts. If you're using 1 of the 11 different
types of Flash 10, (yes there really are 11), you might want
to read the Asker's comment to this "Best Answer" of mine:

♦ If you got Firefox and insist on using Flash's latest player,
make sure you include it as an add-on to your web browser.
♦ You might believe your YouTube volume is "on", but if the
Flash speaker icon is "red" (rather than black), it's possible
may have muted it yourself by accident. If so, just click the
red icon or move the slider upwards.
♦ Some people found success by just closing their browser
and restarting it. A couple others rebooted, and one person
wrote to me recently saying that everything started working
magically again the next day with no effort on his part.
If you're able to determine the "cause" and its "cure", could
you please let me know so that I can incorporate it with my
future Yahoo Answers? Good luck, and I hope that you find
something in my lengthy answer that'll ''do the trick'' for you.
Here are 2 of the other possible solutions I described at the
very top. They might look old but they got positive feedback:

First if you are posting a question like this please provide all the information required, like the OS, vista or xp or win 7, then what is the browser.
If this problem is with vista or win 7 64 bit, try running the Internet explorer from the start where it says 32 bit without addons, because the flash player is not compatible with the 64 bit browser version. You can check this in adobe website itself, if there is an update do it.
IF this problem is with other xp os or any 32 bit os, try downloading the latest flash player from the adobe website and install it, it should work.

Whenever I post a question, even if it is the easiest one, nobody can provide me a proper informed answer here. Wtf happened to people who really make the effort to write an answer..
