I've bundled FIOS tv and internet service and I'm very happy with the upload and download speed of my DSL. I would suggest you look into FIOS

If you don't want cable internet then you would need to go with Verizon or another provider that has DSL in your area such as Earthlink. If FIOS Is in your area I suggest getting it! It is really awesome and very very fast! Much faster than DSL

DSL will only give you 768 meg of upload and maybe 1.2 meg of down bandwidth. Comcast will provide you with a minium of 6 meg of bandwith. I used Verzion DSL in PA. I really couldn't tell any difference except in d/ling a movie. It wasn't much cheaper either.
DSL comes into yer house on a twisted pair that carries 2 channels. One for phone and one for Data. Sure ya got a dedicated twisted pair that is yers alone with DSL. Ya gotta share Cable.. Yer speed may vary!. I like DSL but cable is faster for most people for about the same amount of money!
