Revisionist History in Texas?

To sum up a new Texas history book: George Washington could never tell a lie.The Native American was wiped out by something other than American bullets, the American Civil War was fought over states' rights, not slavery, Ronald Reagan was born in a manger, and GWB was a gift from the gods.

Right wingers believe that (A) The USA has never done anything wrong or (B) Children don't need to know about the awful things that America has done.

They are naive, either way.

People that actually study history and have read actual historical documentation should be in charge of material for the curriculum. Not insane right wing idiots.

Everybody needs to learn that you need to attack the radicals that

are causing problems and not the party, religion, or race they belong to !
