where does the Bible state I must ask Jesus into my heart?

.....and Jesus was here, and if I need to ask him into my heart, why did he not say so? ...and all these morals and standards, aren't these simply part of Moses' law?

Update:

...and where does it state I should make Jesus lord of my life?

Update 2:

...Romans 10:9-13 does not state I must ask a man, Jesus into my heart, it says, if I believe in my heart and confess him, or pronounce, and believe God raised him from the dead and confess this with the mouth, I am saved....please, show me where I must ask Jesus into my heart

Update 3:

he is knocking on a door, not my heart, hear what you are saying

Update 4:

through the son, not him through me

Update 5:

Isaiah states by God himself, there is no savior besides me.

Update 6:

...so, salvation is a euphemism?

Update 7:

In christ, not him in me

Update 8:

the Bible states I must believe God raised him from the dead, and confess this with my mouth, I am saved

Update 9:

Will anyone please show me, salvation according to you all is the most important fact of this existence, yet all I see is implications

Update 10:

Once more, Jesus walked this earth, right? Why did he not command me to ask him into my heart?

Update 11:

one more time, you say it means christ in my heart, and I have had God's spirit, this is all he is, in me and he has always been in me and me in him since before the beginning, remember, in Matthew it plainly states that God's burden or load is light and his yoke or work is easy. If you must tell people any at all, please, life is a gift of God, no payment, no work, not even to ask for it.

It doesn't say that anywhere. The bible is a compilation of writings by several different people and none of them knew at the time they were writing that what they wrote would be brought together in one big book. The nearest you get to it is 2 Tim. 3:16 "All scripture is god-breathed and is useful..." but even that doesn't define what scripture actually is.

"Asking Jesus into your heart" is a term that has come to mean "accept Christ as Savior and Lord"- if you look at the Bible these words are not in there, however, if you look harder you will see that our heart is the temple that was made by God for Him to dwell- so if you want to be technical, Asking Jesus to come into your heart is ok. Jesus is already Lord of everyone's life but asking Him to be Lord, if you are truly doing that is submitting to His authority.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Knock at the door of your mind. The heart is a blood pump. The bible speaks of the mind when it speaks of the heart.

Hbr 4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

That is because if you do not ACCEPT JESUS into your life HE can't abide in YOU. Once you have opened you mind, body and soul to JESUS and SPEAK with your mouth that YOU ACCEPT JESUS as your LORD and SAVIOR (meaning making HIM be the one in control.. whom you seek first in everything you do). Then HE (JESUS) WILL make HIMSELF manifest in you LIFE here on Earth by giving you PEACE, LOVE, JOY, ABUNDANCE, BLESSINGS, NO WORRIES type of life..

Of course there are tests.. but when you HAVE JESUS you will not fail...

2 Corinthians 2:14 (King James Version)

14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

2 Corinthians 3:6 (King James Version)

6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

2 Corinthians 4:7-10 (King James Version)

7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

    8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

    9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

Hope this helped... GOD BLESS YOU.

Jesus said in Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The way to be born again is to ask the LORD into your life.

Jesus said, "you must be born again." You must be born of the Spirit which means Christ is in your heart. The Lord gives us the Holy Spirit who dwells within us and teaches us all things concerning Christ. The Bible calls the Holy Spirit the Comforter whom Christ was sending to the disciples. The only righteousness in us is Christ Jesus and without our relationship with the Lord who works through us how can we fulfill this Scripture "but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits." Daniel 11:32b Without Jesus in me (in my heart) how can I fulfill Scripture that "He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world." "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." "If Christ be for me who can be against me?"

    John 14:23

Jesus answered and said unto him, "If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." The Father is Spirit and consuming fire.

Now verse 26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

The Father and the Son abide in me. Jesus came into my heart when I heard the gospel preached.

Jesus is already Lord of your life, but you must submit to His Lordship. Accept Him.

The promise of the Holy Spirit:

    John 14:15-21 Jesus said

"If you love me, keep my commandments.

and I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever.

Even the Spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive, because it sees Him not, neither knows Him,: but you know Him; for He dwells with you, and shall be in you.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me, because I live, you shall live also.

At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."
