Is feminism more about "competing" with men?

It's my belief that feminism is stupid. It was originally just the belief that women deserved the same exact rights men have and that's cool. Once they got that it turned into more of a female supremacy thing and made it seem like all men were bad, cruel, disgusting, stupid, etc. and that's what I believe is stupid. That's why I hated the movie "The World According to Garp"

I don't think so. For century women had been oppressed by society. If a men sleep with a lot women is Ok, but when a woman sleep with different men they called you know what? I don't think they are competing with men. According with universal law what is wrong for woman is wrong for a man. Let say the law of gravity, if the women and the men fall out of 10th floor chances are that both of them get kill because the universal law does not distinguish who is men or a woman and the same goes for swimming and everything else. We used to belief that if the man had sex he didn't lose anything and it had been proof wrong about that. They are more men with STD and HIV that women, however that is changing also. In many cultures is OK for a men to commit infidelity but if the woman does it they kill her. Now, don't you think that a woman is a human being and has a heart knowing that her husband, boyfriend is with somebody else. You are a men how would you feel if your wife/girlfriend is sleeping with someone else. I bet you would be hurt, well the same thing happen to the woman.

Female promiscity does have a few advantages. They do it to confuse men about who is the father of who and get men to give them more resources. When multiple men are giving her resource gifts, she can produce fitter wealthier offspring. It feels nicer is multiple men are coming up to you and being nice and giving you stuff than just a single man doing it.

Many times a single male may carry a dangerous gene. If she is monogamous with a man with this dangerous gene, then 50% of her offspring carry this gene, and it reduces her fitness. If she mates with multiple men including the one with the bad gene, then she get more variety. Then fewer offspring will carry that dangerous gene. This increases the chances that her offspring will grow up and reproduce.

Some women just have a high sex drive. Many do not want to always be in fear of expressing their sexual self. Not all people are monogamous. Just like not all meadow voles are monogamous. Most meadow voles are monogamous, but there are a few individuals that are just not built for it. I think it has to do with how much vessopressin a and other bonding hormones that they have. It may also have to do with attachment. Some women do not feel bonded to the man they slept with or they use sex to make themselves feel better after a break up. Some women are really gullible with horny men.

But its true, a few women do compete with men to be promiscuous, but I think that most promiscuous women do it for other reasons. I mean sex is pretty risky. You going to need more stuff to make up that risk.

However, i think that most women are monogamous because men are pretty good at detecting who there kids are with all the paternity tests these days. In the old days, women were often killed if they cheated. Children also require a ton of resources to raise, so it is generally in the woman's best interest to stay monogamous. In addition, both males and females have evolved to try to do what they can to remain in their clan. Its a serious problem when your clan kicks you out regardless of your gender.

It's a myth of freedom. A false freedom. Under the guise of "freedom" women act/are promiscuous and victimized, objectified under the sexism of patriarchy. this way women think they are getting what they want and men get what they want.

You can't really think women sleep with men to compete sexually with other men. It could be that people who sleep around like variety, that they can't commit, that they are afraid of intimacy, or that they do not want to be tied down at present. If you don't like it, don't sleep with them. If you like it, enjoy them.

well it shouldnt be a competition because only one gender is feminine and it should stay that way

Um, femenism is the concept that the physical differences that exist between the sexes don't justify gender repression.
