Singing and breathing problems?

I LOVE singing. I sing almost every day, but I'm pretty sure it's not the proper technique. I've already heard everything about breathing, but I just can't! I think I've ruined my voice because I have voice cracks often. One of my most annoying problems now is that I can't sing loudly. When I start singing loudly my voice cracks after a few seconds. I don't think I have much talent. And everybody else in my family thinks that too! They like only my older sister's voice( she's 24) cause she can sing really high and nice. My voice is a bit similar when I sing higher, but I can sing only what I call "middle" notes. That are not too high, and not to deep. Is it because of my age? I'm 14. Yeah, I'm deppressed, my dad has cancer now, and before that my mum was really freaking out and attacking neighbours cuz she's shizophrenic. She has been to hospital, and now she's alright. Ten my grandpa has died. It all happened in ONE year. We also don't have much money, and there are 7 of us, so you can see in what situation am I. I see young singers on youtube every day and it just keeps getting me more deppressed than before cause I don't think I'll ever have that ability to sing. This is my youtube: www.youtube.com/user/KelavaKristina I hope you''l help me out.

well it sounds like your not warming up properly.

make sure your warming up before you sing, even if its just humming.

that can cause strain on your voice if you dont do it.

make sure your sitting up straight and breathing properly.

try drinking some lemon juice to help clear up your voice.

drink alot of water on top of that.

try not to push your voice.

and make sure your using proper technique in rtansfering from head voice to chest voice.

and btw age has nothing to do with your ability to sing.

its all about how you have been trained and how you lift your soft pallette and open up your tones.

    hope this helpssss.

Hey when life give you a 100 reasons to cry you find a 100 reasons to smile :D

First of all try to warm up with those exercises I gave you.

I know it's really boring but it's worth of it,don't give up that easily. If you gave up on everything since you were little baby you would never learned how to write, how to speak.

Did you know that success is 90% of hard work and 10% of talent? ;)

So you definitely have a chance to succeed:)

    REMEMBER NEVER GIVE UP!!!

    DREAMS COME TRUE!
