What songs remind you of your little one?
I'm having a home birth and I'm making a play list to listen to during the labor/pushing to be my focal point.
I don't know if I'm having a boy or a girl so it will be a surprise, so I'd like to avoid anything with male or female reference, but not necessarily, if I really like the song.
I listen to about everything, I don't care much for country or rap. However, I've picked several country songs so far including Let them be little and God bless the broken road. So I'm not completly rigid.
Suggestions please?
Thank you. :)

Fireflies" from electronica artist Owl City's Ocean Eyes. Relient K vocalist Matt Thiessen who is the featured singer on this one.
Not sure why but this song really reminds me of my pregnancy with our 5th child.
Its strange as I heard it a handful of times but guess it was at happy times.
I heard it the other day and we were all in the car and I just said to my hubby - god I love this song it reminds me of being pregnant.
He asked why? and I said I dont know it just does. Weird he said LOL!

Baby Mine by Bette Midler
Baby mine, don't you cry.
Baby mine, dry your eyes.
Rest your head close to my heart,
never to part, baby of mine.
Little one, when you play,
pay no heed what they say.
Let your eyes sparkle and shine,
never a tear, baby of mine.
If they knew all about you,
they'd end up loving you, too.
All those same people who scold you,
what they'd give just for the right to hold you.
From your hair down to your toes,
you're not much, goodness knows.
But, you're so precious to me,
sweet as can be, baby of mine.

oh no sad songs! you need calming and reasuring music i'd try relaxing ocean sounds, and for the big push i'd want something that keeps me pumped and full of energy so some good exercise music.
