What is the ultimate gift or lesson given by the Spiritual Teacher?

A True Spiritual Teacher is a mystery within The Mystery.

One must find the mystery that is within the True Spiritual Teacher.

That mystery is also within the student, waiting to be found.

Human beings seemingly have forgotten what it is to be normal.

A True Spiritual Teacher, helps a spiritual student to once again "remember" what it is to be normal.

Most human beings consider a gift, to be something that is given and then received.

A gift can also be something that is taken away and then received.

What one doesn't require might possibly need be taken away or removed.

We all have something that we truly don't need, is it not so?

Sometimes the inner heart of one will open and flower, when something that one is clinging to unnecessarily, suddenly disappears.

"It's far better to give, than to receive."

A True Spiritual Teacher knows exactly what should be given and exactly what should be removed.

A True Spiritual Teacher also knows the precise time when each should take place.

When to scold and when to hold.

"All things spiritual are transmitted through the inner heart, from one human being to another human being."

The inner heart (kalb) is the mechanism, in question.

The ultimate gift is found by the student, through the teacher.

This is known as Gnanam (Divine Wisdom).

The Wisdom that explains the relationship between a human being and "The Creator".

A very thought-provoking question that many religious people would love to complicate.

When Jesus was on earth he often spoke about God's Kingdom; that was at the forefront. Most people do not even know what that kingdom is. Even though his model prayer had to do with asking for his kingdom to be on earth, just as it is in heaven. When Christ was on earth he healed the sick, helped the down-hearted and even brought the dead to life again. This was to point to God's Kingdom. What is it???

This is not some obscure place undefined. It is a Government. It will govern over the earth. This is how we can finally experience perfect paradise conditions both physically and spiritually. This will be the way originally it was planned, before sin and death. (Dan 2:44; Gen 1:28; Ps 37:10,11) Life in a perfect world for the humble and teachable people that is the Ultimate Gift; that is the Ultimate Lesson!

Selflessness.......

that the spiritual teacher is not giving of them-self for personal gain, i.e. not for ego gain. Such a selfless one would (insha'Allah) know all the pitfalls on the way and would recognise within the pupil what needed addressing and would give remedies/discipline accordingly.

Selflessness .......is to be a channel of the divine...where both mercy (i.e. gentleness) and majesty (i.e. correction) can manifest, depending on the need (a yin and yang of sorts; this being the world of duality)..

But perhaps the ultimate gift is the coming forward to the pupil in the first place for it is said the teacher chooses the pupil and not the other way round. So that is a gift of gifts, albeit ultimately from the Lord of all the Worlds because the coming forward is ultimately to(wards) God. La ilaha illa Allah.

I think the ultimate gift is that the teacher never give up on the student.

The great prophet Isaiah said it very well in one simple verse.

Isa. 61:1

The Spirit of Yahveh is upon me, Because Yahveh has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives, And freedom to prisoners;”

A true teacher/leader will teach the truth of the word which produces freedom from the bondage of this world, and total shalom (peace). That person will be "spirit filled' (not just baptized), and will receive revelation from Yah's Spirit. He will be led by the holy spirit. The mechanism can be many things, that matters not so much. The important thing is that the message is led by the holy spirit, not just a literal reading and understanding of the Hebrew words it is written in. One word from a baptized in the holy spirit Believer is worth ten thousand from one who is not.

Shalom (peace) is the ultimate gift to those who receive the truth of the Torah. many may have peace in Yah, but a rare few know the peace of Yah.

It is to move us from illusionary "seeing" (perceptions) to true Vision. The body's abilities (senses) are limited. A spiritual teacher will help a student to move beyond these limitations. In this Remembrance of Truth, the gift is given and received.

Unless an individual realizes what I have realized and wrote below here, he or she will not advance very far Spiritually...So, any instruction and knowledge has to include the below truths in some manner for the individual to learn, understand and know this truth...This truth has been hidden and kept from man for a very long time, but now the truth and very many more truths are available to man...JMO

There are two separate realities here. You and me as non-physical, immortal, Spiritual Beings with a Spiritual Nature and our own Native Abilities and Perceptions and you and me Operating a physical human mortal body and using this human body's eyes to see with and other physical perceptions, nose, touch, etc. Without this human body we are in our natural reality (Heaven) and operating this human body we are using the Physical World reality. Unfortunately something bad happened and we each Forgot we had our own native reality and falsely considered the Physical World was our natural or native reality...

Adam's Flesh Was Altered

"4:1 But Adam and Eve cried for having come out of the garden, their first home. 2 And indeed, when Adam looked at his flesh, that was altered, he cried bitterly, he and Eve, over what they had done. And they walked and went gently down into the Cave of Treasures".

Adam And Eve Could No Longer See The Angels In Heaven

"4:8 And Adam said to Eve, "Look at your eyes, and at mine, which before beheld angels praising in heaven; and they too, without ceasing. 9 But now we do not see as we did; our eyes have become of flesh; they cannot see like they used to see before."

The ultimate gift of a Spiritual Teacher is to be your clear mirror. To remind you of the Divine that you already are so that you remember to Just Be. :)

Mechanism? Different teachers share this is different ways. To me, the best ways are the simplest ways. Meditation and then living the truth of One's Self in day to day life as much as possible.

Practices until one day the 'student' awakens and realizes that she/he has never been away from Being.
