Need help with a samsung tv channel......?
I have a new 19" Samsung TV. All the channels were set into the tv a few months ago. The words DTV Air and the channel appear in the left hand corner when I change the stations. It was working correctly but the other night my grandson hit the remote.
Now on channel 15 it appears at Air 15...not DTV Air. No matter what I do, I cannot get the station back. Twice, I have reset the stations using channel set up. All the other stations appear as DTV except 15. I have even tried to enter it myself but it will not enter as a DTV channel. The station works on my other sets.
Thanks.
Thanks Mr. Fix-it. I unplugged the tv, waited for a couple minutes and plugged it back in...it worked. Thank You~!!!
Funny story about the toilet. We had the same thing happen just last week. We tried and tried to unclog it, then decided to take it up. We found a scrub brush that our grandson had flushed....kids will be kids. haha
WELL, I THOUGHT IT WAS FIXED BUT... now I have channel 15 but my PBS station for the grandkids is gone and doing the same thing. I tried to unplug the set but this time, nothing...

I am thinking that he may have enabled a parental control that locked out that channel..If you cant get your TV or any type of boxes in place back to default settings try this,----Pull the plug on the TV and any boxes in place and hold down the power button for a minute..This should de-energize them and trigger a return to factory settings when plugged back in....Ive got to add a funny story--I have 25 years experience in fixing things..I ran into a problem with a clogged toilet at home---for the life of me I couldn't unclog it -It became personal--every-time I worked on it my 6yo was watching with a sly look.----Finally I pulled the lousy thing up ---stuck my hands up the back-side and found a potato solidly stuck in it..He thought it was funny-I was pissed-but quickly laughed that he got over on the old man---got me good....never gave a thought to a potato being stuck..Future mechanics often start with sabotage--maybe your grandson is slick too.
