Does anyone else feel that society as a whole has significantly dumbed-down over the last 15-20 years?

I will agree though I cannot vouch for your comments regarding New Jersey as I have never been though. I personally feel it is a result for the increasing need for technology and social networking. People are more concerned with communicating with each other via emai, texting, tweets, and facebook that physical social interactions are becoming a thing of the past.

We should put the world population without computers and cell phone for a week. No spell checks or lazy wikipedia, googling and txt msgs.

By using typewriters and going to the libraries people should learn some English.

i blame it on our current life being overdosed with superficial media and information, the internet, all that reality tv bullsh@#, it has made people jaded, cynical and stupid.

what do you expect form a new generation that will twitter for 3 hours than read a book? (except maybe one on the sims3)

and things are only gonna get worse.

give another 10 years we will be facing a "clone war" full of homer simpsons, but just stupid, not funny
