Doesn't Obama make you yearn for the the good old days in America, like when Bush was president?

It was so great back then, compared to what we have now.

We had jobs, houses, moral values, no corrupt Wall Street liberals, fact.

I miss the days when you could leave your doors open at night and you could leave an apple pie on the window sill without a dirty liberal stealing it and eating it behind your garage like an animal. Times were good. I remember my hubby used to like street racing in his hot rod. He had this old car with flames on it and would beat anyone at the drive in theater.

Now we have small lib cars, gays and minorities in power, and us real Americans now have to take a back seat. This is not the America I grew up with. Now an RC Cola costs a dollar and not a quarter for instance, thanks Obama. Im just glad he is gone in 2012, and the Dems too in 2010. We can finally get our country back from the anti-Americans, fact. The good days are coming back folks. Vote Tea Party and we can do it. Thanks.

I agree, but after much thought, I did find it appropriate to thank Obama for a whole litany of accomplishments and deeds performed by the Self-Anointed One.

Thank you Obama for an unemployment of 9.7%, and real unemployment (workers who stopped looking, marginally attached workers, and underemployed workers) of 17.5%.

    http://www.etfguide.com/research/275/8/The-Soberin...

Thank you Obama for siding with Marxists Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez when Honduras President Manuel Zelaya decided to throw out the Constitution of his country and stay in power past his term before being unceremoniously marched out of the country by the military which fulfilled its oath, stepped back, and allowed the Honduran Congress to appoint a successor. Those inconvenient Constitutions sure can be a ***** to budding Marxists. http://mcauleysworld.wordpress.com/2009/06/29/obam...

Thank you Obama for your America apology tour.

And for trillion dollar bailouts, budgets, deficits.

Let’s not forget heavy government regulation that further stifles our economic recovery. Thanks a million Mr. President.

And we can’t forget to thank you for supporting tax increases at all income levels.

Or indicating you have no idea how basic economic theory works.

And a big shout out for insulting our intelligence. We know if you increase taxes on small business (what you call the wealthy), big business (such as oil), then everyone, including middle class America, end up paying the tax. Which means we should also thank you for:

Showing us you would be a horrible contestant on Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? http://www.fox.com/areyousmarter/

Thank you Obama for selling out our children’s future and attempting to enslave them to a bloated government.

For the nationalization of many industries, including automotive and health.

For undermining the CIA and our military by publishing documents that reveal our interrogation techniques.

    For canceling important weapon systems

For bowing, and bowing, and bowing ad nauseam to world leaders like an impotent second class citizen unworthy of manhood.

For weakening this country by providing terrorists the same legal protections as U.S. citizens.

For omitting “Islamic Terrorism” from security documents while allowing the Department of Homeland Security to publish reports labeling soldiers and conservatives as potential right-wing extremists.

For stonewalling on the Fort Hood massacre investigation: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2010/04/1...

For creating a shadow government of czars who are radical Marxists and crooks.

And lets not forget to thank you for alienating Israel, our only real ally in the Middle East, while fostering a potentially explosive situation in that region. Bully for you.

An I am sure that many in Iran would love to join us Americans in thanking you for turning your back on Iranian protesters while they were slaughtered.

While we are at it, thanks in advance for assisting Iran in creating a nuclear warhead. Awesome!

And thanks for helping me win that bet. It is possible for a President to be worse than Jimmy Carter.

But most of all, thank you for pulling this country together in opposition to your policies; for making us stronger and setting the stage for a comeback of epic proportions for fiscal conservatism as happened after we were subject to four years of Jimmy Carter. Of course, you won’t be thanking us for that, not when your explicit goal is weakening and destroying the greatest nation on this planet.

So thank you in advance for failing - something I guarantee will happen. o_O

Sure does, and the silence about our solders being killed , the Media does not report that every day anymore, they cover up for the fake Messiah. Obama appeasing the enemies and we are being attacked, and Obama and his cronies STILL try and find reasons to cover the attacks , as some thing not real important. America is not safe , with Obama in charge. Clinton did NOT have a surplus, he stole from SS and social programs, cook the books (typical Clinton's) to make it appear that way on paper. things were pretty good until 2006, when the Dems used Cindy Sheehan to protest like a fool, to take over Congress and America has been going down hill since, and Obama has pushed us off the cliff. All Dem's politicans, like Clinton and Obama talked about was being like Europe, well look at them now. Only thing that is going to turn this disaster around is to vote out all Dem's in Nov and maybe Obama will be Impeached, along with his side kick puppet lap dog Biden. Pelosi is criminally insane, she needs to be committed for life. Yes, I miss Bush, he did not speak well, but he damn sure did keep America safe, love his country and the people. Bush did not have to be on TV every day, he did his job. Obama can not go 12 hrs with out being on TV some how some how some way. I am so sick of the two face lying enemy within, he needs to be throwed out of the WH and America, period

The current president of the United States is trying to destroy from within, what has traditionally been viewed as the economy of the United States of America. Once a land of wondrous prosperity and opportunity - Obama now wants to “level the playing field” concerning who has the money and who does not, who has access to things and who does not - the “America” that Obama wants is going to steal the wealth in this country and spread it around to the rest of the people - and in most cases it will NOT be spread around to the dreaded middle class. Obama has always hated the middle class, the so called white class - he saw them as and was taught by Rev. Wright that they were over privileged rich people who didn’t deserve what they had - versus the reality - that the middle class were and are for the most part, the educated class of the society and the hard working tax paying class as well. Yet the middle class are getting the shaft tax wise - the only difference is that we are smart enough to know what is going on. However, knowing what is happening and doing something about it are two different things. Obama is VERY intent on getting his agenda done - no matter what the people, the tax payers want. Therefore, we as a people must rise up in unison at voting time - we must stand tall together and vote out of office those politicians who spit on the Constitution with their actions and those politicians who believe in Socialism, redistribution of wealth and big daddy government - these politicians MUST go - they are NOT doing what is best for America!. Obama passed his beloved Health Care bill, beloved ONLY by the Democrats in Congress, the House and the White House. Yes, Obama arrogantly dismissed the will of the people - “We the People” were totally ignored and ridiculed by Obama as he rammed this colossal government entitlement program through the House of Representatives and the Senate - now all that has to happen is this Marxist freak has to sign the bill - this will happen within 24 hours. Like a master at lies and deceit, Obama used his thug style of politics to ram this bill through the political “process”. Do you believe the American people are going to stand for this crap? Picture Obama standing on top of the White House giving everyone the finger - flipping America’s hard working taxpayers, the bird! This is essentially what he has done. o_O

If Bush would have had a conservative congress (not necessarily a republican one) we would not have had the housing failure of Barney franks Freddie Mac and Fanny Mae.

We were safer under Bush, we had less unemployment and his tax cuts were working until 9-11.

Bush wasn't articulate as Obama (as long as Obama has a teleprompter) but he spoke from the heart and he didn't lie to the American people.

Iraq didn't have WMD (YET) but they did have plans and some radio active material.

With all of Bushes faults he at least protected the constitution.

We need to get back to the constitution and do it at the voting polls.

Obama is a terrible president and hasn't done anything good, but he sure has hurt us a lot. Even still, I disagree that Bush was all that great. He did do the bank bailout and he agreed to bail out the car companies. We need a president who would really shake things up and give us the FairTax and I think the Tea Party is going to help tremendously in steering the GOP to that candidate.

If the BP spill happened during the bush reign, he would have waited 6 mo to read about it, then given BP a subsidy.

The first answer... reminds me of the CLASSIC movie "AIRPLANE" where the LAWYER is talking to the PATIENT in the Sanitarium - and... at the end of the scene - we find out that the PATIENT was the VISITOR and the LAWYER was the NUT.

If Yearning for the BUSH YEARS - makes me NUTS... - then so be it.

I agree it was a much nicer country. Of course we can not turn back. But we can vote out the people who are going along with this idea of controlling us. Also Obama will only be a one term-er. Look at what he has done so far to put us in debt. Making us a Nanny State. Why go down the road as the Europeans and Greece. It does not work. I like to believe people learn from others mistake but IDK anymore.

Haha. The apple pie comment cracked me up.

Anyway, I agree with you. When I grew up my parents would kick me out of the house on nice days. I would be gone for hours and my parents never worried about it. I spent summers chasing girls and playing baseball. Not in the basement watching TV and playing on the computer or playing video games.

You have the Bush era confused with the Eisenhower, Truman days. Your time warp does not do you justice and does not convince me that Bush`s time was that wonderful. Your anti-liberal stance just makes you sound like you have a severe case of sour grapes syndrome. Nice try but you fail in your attempt to make Bush seem so wonderful. 9/11 is all you need to put things in perspective, it all went downhill from there.
