Life after death eh? how do you christians explain this guy?

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2010/05/12/jk....

a military man, died for 15 mins, had no out of body experience and didn't experience anything after he died.

Update:

I'll admit he could be lying, but a man of the military is more religable then some yokel out there in the bible belt.

A military man did not die for 15 minutes or for even a second if he had died he wouldn't be telling anyone anything. Dead is dead.

Nothing needs explaining because what does it really matter? If some people out there truly believe that they have had an out of body experience, who are we to judge? If they are lying... who cares? If the attention helps them deal with things, all the power to them. It won't change anything in the lives of those around us. We can neither prove nor disprove the existence of life after death... that is, unless you actually die in which case you could never inform the living. Some people, and honestly I include myself in this statement, need to believe that there is something else out there that does not include rotting in a casket for all eternity. People will believe what they want to believe... as long as they don't take it to the extremes and they don't hurt others... who cares?!?

obviously they can't explain it, so it's a trap question for them.

But its quite obvious to me it was our Creator, the Flying Spaghetti Monster. He reached out with his Almighty Noodly Appendage and plucked him from heaven and sent him back to earth. Obviously he wiped his memory because no man could enjoy life after drinking from the Eternal Beer Volcano in heaven and then being taken away from it. I wouldn't be surprised if this man has eaten spaghetti, its been shown that most cases of near-death experiences are experienced by people who haven eaten spaghetti at least once.

Source(s): Pastafarian Accept His Noodly Appendage to reach into your heart and marinate your soul with His Almighty Sauces of Goodliness so that all starchiness be removed from you! Although i gotta tell you, if you don't do it, you'll go to hell =( I'm sure you'll make the right choice! You can't miss the obvious choice here! R'Amen!

The most reveling aspect of so-called out–of-body experiences is what those who seek “evidence” of life-after-death would have you not know.

This phenomenon can be recreated in the form of centrifugal devices, like unto those used in testing the threshold of astronauts-to-be.

One more thing you are not likely to hear reported is the fact that those near death often see not just those that passed before us, but those that are still alive as well.

Every human being that has ever lived on this planet earth has an eternal ":inner being or spirit man with." This being is invisible and eternal already, because he is, and it is a he being is created in the image and likeness of the Living God. Were, I standing in front of you and talking, I would talk to this inner being and you head would bob in acknowledgment. I would tell you that he or that inner being is the person whose true "feelings" you hide from the world and you would acknowledge that. This inner being is already eternal and will never die. Only our fleshly body that covers this inner being gets old, wears out, or YOU give "up" the will to live in that worn out body of flesh. Read Luke chapter sixteen verse and start with verse 19. This is the story of a man who spoke to Jesus and of Abraham or Father Abraham. For the record, Father Abraham's "body of flesh" was buried some 1,500 to 2,000 years ago by his two sons Ishmael and Isaac. Yet in Luke, Abraham is alive and speaking without his physical body and that proves his inner being, yours and the Rich young Rulers is already eternal. Abraham's journey of "faith" on land always led him east. So he was always sowing INTO HIS God given future which is eternal like in the invisible Kingdom of Christ. In this account Abraham is waiting for the crucifixion and resurrection which has not yet occurred on the land above Paradise where he is. The Rich young ruler on the other hand rejected the counsel of Jesus, turned his back on Christ, went into the world and ended up in hell which at that time is below the earth. Hell and "death of the outer being" who was not born again of the Spirit of God will eventually be cast into the bottomless pit. This place is Lucifer's counterfeit Kingdom and all those on land who faced his Kingdom "in the flesh" will perish for heading west on land and NOT walking EAST by faith on land and toward the eternal Kingdom of Christ. Hope this helps!

I explain it by pointing out that nowhere in Scripture does it say that your soul goes straight to Heaven or Hell after death. That journey will come at the Second Coming of Christ, not before.

At least he's been given a chance in life, isn't that good enough? It is a miracle that he suddenly went back too.

And many people in that same situation have experienced things... so what? Who's to say that he just didn't remember any of it? Or that God made him not remember? Or God spared him from remembering (if the outcome was not pleasant). This proves nothing.

You are going to trust the "memories" (or lack there of) of a dead guy? Seriously?
