why are so many questions deleted. Is it a fluke, or did Yahoo hire Pat Robertson as censor?

since every question was deleted, i expect it was a glitch

edit. I spent some time there this pm and noticed that

more than half the questions from page 5 to 45 had been

deleted. That would be over 400 questions. Many showed

10 to 20 answers. There was nothing to indicate

any violations.

A few that looked like violations were not deleted.

this was under all catagories - oldest. mostly 1 week old

Every now and then, there's a glitch on this site that causes the "deleted" message to show on all questions. I have not encountered it today, but when this has happened in the past, refreshing the page a couple of times usually enables you to see and answer the question.

If that doesn't solve the problem...well, your profile shows that you spent a lot of time in Religion & Spirituality, and there are probably more Q & A deleted in that section than in any other. For good reason, I might add. Rants, flamebait, sermons, and avatar games do not count as legitimate questions.

It is simple, YA has a strict set of rules and many users either intentionally or innocently ignore these rules. No more or less than that. There is no censorship by Yahoo. Some users in the "hot" categories try to censor themselves, but it is not usually successful if the questions are within the rules.

The rules here are quite explicit and actualy favour the more creative trolls on this site.

SO; if you haven't the smarts enough to actually read the rules and play with your own set instead, a violation really shouldn't come as any surprise. Serious members here have had quite enough of these people and are starting to vote with their report buttons. GET USED TO IT ! ! !

Questions get deleted because all it takes is for two trusted members on here to report your question to get it deleted.
