The 'Christian God' is the LORD God Almighty, so therefore should be the same as Allah because Jews, Christians and Muslims all claim Abraham as their forefather. However when we look at some of the resultant teachings of Islam it makes one wonder. The New Testament of the Bible tells us clearly that the Lord Jesus Christ is the son of God whereas the Koran demotes him to just a prophet, he was a prophet but so much more. Ishmael, rather the the Biblical promise to Isaac, is claimed to have inherited the promises and been the one Abraham was prepared to offer on the altar to God.

Maybe due to the apparent inability of Mohammed to read and write, these truths have been altered around so that they are untrue. After all, the Scriptures came before Mohammed so he should have understood them better. Perhaps he had a reason for writing as he did, dare I say self interest?

More differences than similarities. Allah (Alah, Ilah, Eli) is one God, Creator and Sustainer of all existence. Christianity accepts this one characteristic, but not without adding a couple of partners (son and ghost) to make the one whole. Additionally, through the son, the one god has a mother, according to Paul's interference and a whole train of saints and vicars between God and mankind. Traditional Christianity has a very polytheistic approach to God, compared to Quraanic Islam.

Same God. Pretty much the same religion, except christians believe Jesus was the ONLY Son of God, while muslims believe that he was a prophet of God.

No, Allah promises a harem of women for the dominant males,

and a harem of irons, laundry and cooking stoves for women.

Christian God (yhwh - in hebrew) promises heaven or paradise for men and women.

Christian God allows consuption of pork and beer :D

Allah demands the death of any infidel who even thinks about pork and beer.

Christian God has alot of wacky followers,

Allah has wacky and bloodthirsty, sexist insane followers.

They're both infinite and eternal. They're both omnipotent. They both have bands of worshippers on Earth.
