How long until he has a heart attack?
A friend of mine has high blood pressure. I don't remember his exact numbers off hand but i know he's well into stage two hypertension both systolic and diastolic.
Looking for a medical opinion or even from someone with experience on the matter.
-He's only 24.
-His BP is REALLY high.
-He weighs about 250lbs, (gained most of it within the past year)
-He's a smoker, smoking about a pack a day. He started when he was about 14.
-He almost NEVER exercises.
-He eats unhealthy. Mostly meat and deep fried foods and a lot of it at a time.
-He has a really bad temper.
-He sweats a lot and it doesn't take much to make him sweat.
-He sometimes feels pain in his chest when overexerting himself (sometimes it only takes as much as walking upstairs)
-He hasn't seen a doctor since he was a kid, and refuses to see one or go on pills.
Me and his family have been trying to convince him to see a doctor and change his lifestyle to improve his health but he's pretty set in his ways.
My questions are: what are the consequences of this? What could happen to him and in how long until it does?

Nobody can provide a definite time table for such things, it can happen sooner or later or less likely, never. He is definitely on the wrong path, and needs help. Such a person has given up caring for himself, and is most probably in depression. You should persuade him to see a doctor, and take some steps to improve his health condition.
