Has there ever been a 7th seed vs an 8th seed conference finals?

The way the bruins blew the 3-0 lead (both this game and the series) makes me wonder if we will see a 7v8, has that ever happened before?

Update:

Well there you have it, the bruins lost it. I knew they were going to lose when the flyers came back from 3-0 and scored the 4th goal. It was too perfect. The flyers come back from 3-0 in the series to win the series 4-3 in a game they came back from 3-0 to win it 4-3.

Since the playoff format changed in the 1993-94 season there has not been a 7 vs 8 in the conference finals

    there was a 8 vs 6 in 2006 and a 7 vs 6 in 2003

I don't believe there ever has. If the Flyers win this will certainly be a history making playoffs. None of these teams have won the Cup in nearly 20 years. (Montreal was last in 92-93)

Also, Philly will have been the first NHL team in over 50 years to come back from a 3-0 deficit. The fourth in American sports history. And it may very well be the first 7 vs. 8 Conference Final.
