How do you clean an oven?

My oven is self-cleaning, do I need to spray anything in it or do I just press the "clean" button?

  • Hi There,

It's good you are asking it. Don't spray anything inside your oven, just press the "clean button".

Self cleaning oven has special interior coating that can be damaged when sparing oven cleaner inside.

Self cleaning oven cleans it self by Intense heat. When you push the "clean button" the oven door is automatically locked.

Then, it uses high temperature to burn off all the food and spills leftovers in the chamber without the use of any chemical agents.

The intense heat produced during the self-cleaning mode (approximately 500C/900F) turns most of the inside leftovers to a gray pile of ash.

After the oven cools down you only have to wipe off the ash using damp cloth.

    That's it!

I line the bottom with aluminum foil so I don't have to clean it as often.
