i just bought a 96 plymouth neon?

now i got it home and changed the egr and passanger side cv and drove it around a while then the next day the drivers side cv broke cuz there were no blots in the transmission to the motor support mount so the transmission droped and broke the cv joint car came to a stop fast..now i replace the cv and put the transmission back up and now it doesnt run only in reverse in every gear ..only cranks in neutral..please help me thanks

Update:

i checked the wires and stuff and all seems good could it have fliped the gears around inside of the transmission and messed up the links inside or something

    when it dropped it probably broke or damaged a wire on the transmission for the neutral safety switch and on the other part of it,you need to check the linkage on it, it may have jerked that loose also,good luck.

    yeah, take a real close look at it, sounds like you pulled a wire out
