Paranormal Phenomena: Blue Light Spirit from Dog's Death?
Hello, 9 days ago both my dogs were hit by a car. As my mother opened the door to let my sister's friend inside, they darted out and into the streets and were suddenly hit. After my mother scooped them up from moaning/crying on their backs in the street, she carried them inside. Then one of my dogs died seconds later in my mother's arms. The other dog had a broken leg and her pelvis was pushed out of alignment and broken in 5 places but survived the incident with critical surgery.
We have been mourning my dog that passed for days and days. She was the sweetest and most affectionate dog you could imagine, taken from her mother at an early age but only made us love her even more. She acted like a small human baby and we treated her as a family member with huge amounts of affection and love. I also feel just horrible about my dog that survived because she lost her sister and they grew up together since they were puppies. She has been depressed for a week (I can see it in her eyes and sense the vibe) but she is slowly getting back to her old energetic happy self. My dog that survived was the motherly figure while my dog that passed was the cared for "baby" (though they were both about 1 years old).
Anyways, the other day 4:00am in the morning, my mother (caring for my other now crippled dog) walked into the kitchen and spotted a small blue light. She did not get a fearful vibe at all and she noted that the light moved in between the refrigerator and counter under a broom and disappeared a couple seconds later.
I have done research and have found out from another similar question that "Animals that die especially from a traumatic, untimely death have spirit energy that is released from the body and they often are lost or trying to adjust and find their way."
"You may consider doing a grounding and/or cleansing ceremony to offset unbalanced energies on your grounds and to help lost spirits cross over."
My family is moving from the household within the month and I do NOT want to leave my dog's spirit lost and wandering around without us. Is there any way we can take her spirit with us or help her spirit in any way? I cannot tell you how much my family loved our passed dog and I want her spirit to find happiness.

I don't think you have to worry. What happened is most likely one of two things. Your mother may have made up the story, because she thought it might make you feel better. Or your mother just had a momentary visual hallucination or saw an optical illusion. (yes, I know, your mother has never had hallucinations, and this is impossible. Everyone seems to think they are immune from these things, even though they effect the rest of the human population.)
Spotting a small blue light does not mean that the ghost of your deceased dog is roaming around. Perhaps its the ghost of a mouse or cockroach. But its very unlikely that it was a ghost at all.
You see what your doing? Your connecting the blue light with your dog, and have no idea if they are in any way connected. Your jumping to conclusions, and far fetched ones at that.

How old is your dog? Older dogs can sometimes have medical problems that make them act very strangely. I'd get a checkup with your vet to rule that out before I'd go running to the pastor. Having said that, yes, I've had animals to strange things that were completely unexplainable otherwise. My dogs and my cats have all watched something move through the room that I couldn't see, growled at empty corners or furniture, ran away from me in terror for seemingly no reason. My best advice, if your dog is deemed in good health. Simply ask whatever entity is there to kindly leave, cross over, go away, or however you want to put it.

It might follow you to your new home and it might not. It might be your dog or some other loose soul. Either way the best way is to give it some advise and pray for it. This is usually done by buddhists where they advise the soul to let go of the "earthly" matters which bounds them to earth and pray for them. Whether they can find happiness or not that is based on their karma. The only thing we could do is like what the buddhists do, to tell them they are dead, advise them to let everything go and move on. Spirits usually stay on earth due to unfinished business, usually revenge. In your case it is different. Spirits from accidents die suddenly and doesn't know what happened. They are confused so they keep on with their daily routine and lifestyle. We have to let them understand that they are dead and there are no point staying here any longer as they might be misled by malevolent spirits to do bad things. Ask them to leave in peace with God to heaven and pray together with you. Keep praying for them and you could ask others to join you in your prayers. The more prayers the better the effect. You can even pray for them after you moved, since prayers knew no boundaries. Hopefully it will let go and find its place in heaven.

Rest easy, hon. Your dog is at peace. And she'll follow you wherever your family goes. Their pure love and loyalty doesn't end with their life. But no... she isn't trapped or anything bad. Yes, it's an adjustment for them at first, but nothing out of the ordinary, it's very normal. She's fine.
what was the blue light? Who knows. Could it have been her? Yes. But I can't tell you for sure.
But rest assured. She'll always be with you, wherever you go, and no, there isn't anything you need to do for her. I'm seeing angels and feeling peace, which I feel just means that she's WITH the angels and she's at peace now. And that she's watching over you, like a guardian angel.

I experienced seeing a spark of blue light 3x when my dog died of being hit by a handy dart. Once I saw it near the stairs where she would normally hang out and the other time I saw another blue spark in the kitchen desk where her ashes are!

a blue spirit? are you sure that's not an ArchAngel, contact a shamanic healer asap to see what they can do.. and draw a circle on a sheet of paper and tape it on the wall, but verify with a healer if this works I'm not sure.. tell the dog to follow the white light and pray to the Angels to make sure the dog's soul crosses over to the white light
the Angels listen to us I believe..
