Does anyone know if ammonia smelling urine can be a side effect of Amoxicillin?

I brought my 6 month old son to the doctor yesterday and found out he had an ear infection. We started him on Amoxicillin. This morning when I woke him up his diaper smelled like ammonia. Also, an hour later when he had another wet diaper it smelled. I have read that it can be due to dehydration or a UTI. He has been eating normally, but has been irritable which I had associated to the ear infection. Does anyone know if this smell could be from the antibiotics? The side effects on the info the pharmacy gave me does not list it as one.
