Have you had a positive fFN test?

I'm 32 weeks and at my last apt my dr did a fFN test and it came back positive, so now I am on bed rest and have been since Thursday and I am going nuts. Have you had a similar situation? Did you deliver early? How did you deal with bed rest?

Update:

fFN is for fetal fibronectin. It is a protein that your body produces when pregnant, it acts as a "glue" which holds the fetal sac to the uterine wall. It shouldn't be able to be detected at certain points, but if it is it means there is in increased chance for premature labor.

yes and I was told that a negative ffn is more accurate than a positive one. with a negative test it says that you absolutely will not go into labor in the next 2 weeks. with a positive it means it could be possible that you will go into labor in the next 2 weeks. I never went into labor on my own. At 29 weeks when they did the test, I was already at 1 cm and my contractions were only about 10 minutes apart. they gave me a shot to stop my contractions then they gave me a second shot aqnd a pill because the first shot didn't help. they did the ffn and it was positive. at 32 weeks I was checked again and I was at 2cm. at 36 weeks I was checked and I was at 2cm at 39 weeks I was checked again and I was at 2 cm. I ended up being induced that day due to preeclampsia. as far as dealing with bedrest goes, I had 2 other children at the time who were 2 and 4 so I was not able to be on bed rest. it was not an option for me.
