Overall none of these names are my favourites, but I don't hate them.

Mary; On a scale of 1 - 10, I'd give it a 6. It's a timeless and historic name, which is what I like about it. I only know one Mary.

Patricia; 2. I really dislike this name, I'm generally not a "P" fan regarding names.

Linda; 4. Never been a big fan.

Barbara; 5. It's an "eh" name for me. My French teacher's name is Barbara, lol.

Elizabeth; 9. I love this name. I know a lot of people with this as their middle name.

Jennifer; 5. Not a huge fan of this name, however I know a girl whose name is Gennifer, and I really like it spelled with a "G".

Maria; 3. I like it on it's own, but it's been so overused for centuries everywhere around the world.

Susan; 8. I personally love this name.

Maragret; 2. Just not a fan.

Dorothy; 4. I like it, but when I hear it, all I think about is The Wizard of Oz.

    Lisa; 3. Never liked it.

Nancy; 7. I do like this name, it's cute.

I don't live in the USA, but where I like the names Mary, Patricia, Barbara, Susan and Lisa are common for women aged 45 +

I really like Mary, Elisabeth, Jennifer, Maria & Nancy. I'm not so keen on the others.

I like Elizabeth, Maria, & Mary. I like variations of the name Susan like Susanne & Susanna as well as variations of the name Margret like Margot & Marjorie.

My name is Mary Elizabeth and I was actually the only one named Mary in my school, except for one teacher. (BTW, I'm 24 and from Kentucky) I've never met anyone with Elizabeth as a first name but it seems like everyone I know has it as a middle name..

My mom's name is Susan. Grandmother's name was Margaret.

I've never met a Maria or a Dorothy. I would say Linda, Patricia, Barbara, Lisa, Nancy & Susan are pretty common for people in my mothers age range. My mom is 52.

I don't like any of these names.

Mary, Elizabeth, Jennifer, and Lisa are very common where I live with younger girls

Patricia, Barbara, Susan, and Nancy are common with older women.

Are these really that common? I know a Mary Elizabeth but I don't know anyone by any of the other names. I like Maria but prefer Marie, I think it's less common but not sure. I just like it more.

I like Margret because the nickname is Maggie

I also like Susan and Suzie

My name is Jennafer but I have always went by Jenna. It is very common for my age range 20-30 year olds. So I would not use it for my own baby, but its not horrible and many people like the name Jenna.

Elizabeth is a nice middle name

I dont really like the rest of them.

They are probably common in my area, but they are older. I don't know many babies or young kids with these names. Jennifer is probably the one I know most of....

The only one I would use right now is Elizabeth. I think it's still cute, the others sound too old for a baby right now....

I know a Mary, Jennifer, Susan, Maragret, Dorothy, Lisa, and Nancy, but they are all my cousins.friends parents. Except, I do know different set of Lisa and Jennifer who are younger, in their twenties.

I'm really not a big fan of these names. They are just to plain for my taste. Elizabeth could be okay for a middle name maybe.

No, they are not common where I live - at least, not with the younger generation. I know one Elizabeth, one Jennifer, and one Lisa. That's it. I live in the UK though.
