I am 45, my kids are 23 and 19 and have always watched horrors through their entire lives. Be sure they know it is all acting and fun. Entertainment is what it is called and that is all it is. Enjoy the chance to be afraid, but only for the moment. Worst example I can think of is soap operas, people sleeping around with many different people, people being killed and then showing up again, just entertainment. Have fun with it.
