need help picking a processor?
for xeon, it seems that 5500 and better processors can be chained together on the same board, and x series processors are the ones that can be overclocked, and the x5540 is $1000... this presents a dillema to me because I need to process music on a budget, any ideas?

As I see, this server processor is a quiet bit more expensive than the i7
