how to keep birds out of strawberrys?

Ive got netting out but the wind blows it around and I cant hardly fasten it down, it there a MECHANICAL means to accomplish this

    Some moving objects will often scare birds off, so if you could fix down any thing that will move about, such as shiny thin metallic food containers, a windmill, bunting/streamer etc then this should help clear them. if they work, move them around a little every couple of days, so that they don't get used to them. I realise this isn't exactly mechanical, but it's a fairly simple to fix up arrangement.

    Noises can also deter birds, so if you have anything like a wind chime - of use if it's breezy - then this would keep them off too.

    Otherwise, consider adding some stakes into the ground, that may help fix the netting down.

    Yeah, stake down the netting or secure it however you can. Them strawberries are just too tasty for the birds for anything to ever work properly. Ive tried chimes, strips of foil, scarecrows, fake owls, even letting my dogs roam the yard, nothing has worked for me other then just really securing the patch with netting.
