2010 UCL FINAL: Inter FACTORY FOOTBALL v FANTASY FOOTBALL Bayern?

Question

So we are within 48 hours of the 2010 Champions League final between Bayern Munich & Inter Milan.
Perhaps many of you are wondering what the hell are 'fantasy football' & 'factory football'?

Well, I use these terms to describe football styles of play, attacking-minded & defensive-minded respectively.
Perhaps 2010 final will be the first in years which pits 2 teams which truly embody these distinct football styles.
Bayern is playing "fantasy football" under Louis van Gaal with their explosive offensive football, having scored a staggering 12 goals, averaging to 2 per game in the knockout stages.
On the other hand, Inter under the 'Special One' has practised a rather "factory football" with systematic defensive tactics as demonstrated in the famous taming of Barcelona over two legs in the semifinals.
Many people go for Inter because they have Jose Mourinho but don't forget that he was under Louis van Gaal in Barcelona.
Personally, I feel it will be a very tight encounter with the victors winning by only a one-goal margin, or perhaps having to go the penalty shootouts, the 5th in the last 10 finals after 2001, 2003, 2005 & 2008; the first of which was won by the German club.

Which team will emerge victorious?
Will it be the coaches who ultimately determines the outcome of the game?
Will it symbolize the triumph of one style of play over the other?
Or do you disagree with the terms of "fantasy football" and "factory football"?

Nothing wrong with what defensive play but Inter's "factory football" as you call it is, while effective, very boring. To park a tank in front of goal is barely football. That having been said, Mourinho is a genius because he knows how to win at all costs. However, winning at all costs isn't really worth it. How many teams have you seen Barca defend with ten players??? never. What Inter did against Barca was clever, but it wasn't football.
Bayern Munich's "fantasy football" as you call it is vastly more entertaining but has its fair share of flaws. Their attack is strong but it compromises on their defence. Besides, They depend very heavily on Robben.
The fact that Mourinho worked under Van Gaal actually works in Mourinho's favour cos he will know what strategies Van Gaal is likely to use.
In conclusion, I think Inter will win, but I would like Bayern to win.

My money is on Munich - With neither side wanting to give anything away early on we can expect a cagey opening and few players being committed forward by either team. This could make for a dull spectacle for the neutral fan, but what better way to offset that than by having a little flutter? 

Back the Half-Time score to be 0-0 and the second half to have the most goals. Fininshing 2-2 (Penalty Shootout - Win for Bayern Munich)

Running backs accumulate more points over the season than WR's do. Boldin is great in theory, but lets see how he does on a running team after a bunch of injuries. I'd take Peterson in a flash and Edwards, while a jets receiver, is a big guy that can go get the ball and if sanchez improves this year, someone has to catch the ball. Take the trade. You'll have two bout it RB's. WR's can be found 1/2 way through the year too like clockwork.

You really know your football, I'm impressed. I think Inter will win, after all they did manage to tame the mighty force in Spain, Messi. My bad, I meant Barcelona. I hope they will go to a penalty shootout, a fine way to end this year's Champions League.

i think that inter is more fantasy than bayern, because they have the special one, mourinho. He is very intelligent and his tactics are winning
Bayern has got good fotball players, but inter has got Julio Cesar, milito, sneijder, eto'o and many!

i think inter milan will win... just because of the special one.. he is a genius in terms of tactics and i think.. no... i KNOW he will find a way to stop bayern from playing their game...

they did it with barca with 10 men.. i don't see how they cant do it against bayern
