Who do I need to notify when I change my home phone number?
I'm dropping my landline and going with magicjack. I now have a new home phone number. I've been contacting everyone I can think of to notify them of the change, but what government services, etc. do I need to notify of the change?

only thing is if you use magicjack that i am not sure of if you need 911 will it give them your address like the old land line? if not maybe the 911 call center would be a good notification to give

Only the people you want to hear from!!! You just need to notify any of your services...electric, gas, water, banks, stuff like that. Believe me, the government will find you if they want you!!

why could you're able to alter your telephone quantity? in spite of in case you're changing companies, you could continuously port your quantity... tell your new telephone provider provider which you somewhat desire to deliver your latest telephone quantity with you once you regulate.. and that they're going to preserve shifting the quantity over to their provider - do no longer call to cancel your contemporary provider until the port technique is complete and your latest quantity is working along with your new provider...
