Dovi to try new Chassis at Le Mans (MotoGP)?

Dovi says its a slow track, and we know how quick the Honda is after Qatar.

how quick pedrosa was in Jerez

Both were quick in the test after Jerez.

what are the chances of a Honda (HRC) beating up the Fiat Yamaha boys.

and who will come out on top Dovi or the Pedrobot.

Well I know after Qatar, Dani had an iron rod welded to the brace point above the swingarm pivot point, to aid stiffness. Iron will take to ally better then steel. The ally its self for the frames (in the wrong twist) is very weak, just like carbon, but in the correct place its a tough as a brick wall. Dani never tested the bar as Japan was camcelled. Jerez did not call for the frame to have the mod.

If Dovi is testing a new frame it would come as no surprise. Things need to change quick for HRC and in a big way.

Do you remeber in 92 when Wayne Rainey broke rule number 1 and whilst on the factory YZR 500, ran a 1991 Sec Roccet (ROC) frame & swingarm claiming the current '92 model was too stiff. It turned out the Roc was almost an exact copy of the Factory 91 frame, so wayne used it as it was better then YRT factory effort.

It turns out all 16 factory YRT frames were built by the same guy on ...... the same jig. The jig was out by 2 degrees on the headstock, hence all the frames were wrong.

Funny how it took a 3 times world champ [ I know he only won 2 but the 93 title was WR's to lose. It was only Misano that changed that ] & a LEGEND like Mr W Rainey to notice the problem. Nobody else did. I guess this is why the guy was introduced to me by Geoff Crust (Raineys old boss) as "Mr inch perfect" !

I hope Dovi can do well this weekend, he needs a good race, get his '10 season going. If he can beat Dani by the last race of the year, HRC might start taking more notice of him, just like Ducati are doing with Nicky and even though the results down the line are not too great, both Pramac boys (and no doubt Aspar) are saying the GP10 is better.

Dani might even go to Moto2 if he gets his rear end kicked too badly this year. If so, he could take a Legend like Pete Benson with him and walk it. World title in the bag before the first flag drops !

    Hello Proc and everyone,

I think it's very likely. Honda this year is definitely much faster than last season :). Between Dovi and Pedrosa. I think Dovi has been more consistent this year "so far" heheh
