Space is expanding. Spacetime is curved.

It would be meaningless to say that spacetime is expanding, or indeed doing anything as a function of time, since time is a part of spacetime. This particular curvature of spacetime is perceived as expanding space.

The actual fabric of space-time is expanding.

When speaking of space, you are always inferring that you are talking about space-time; they cannot be separated (it does not make physical sense to speak of space without time). So, space-time is expanding but most will shorten it and say "space is expanding" in conversation or literature.

    Think of it this way.

When we look 'out' we look 'back' right?

The volume, and history, that we can see, (our event horizon),

is expanding at the speed of light isn't it?

Space and time can rarely be segregated.
