iHome won't play iPod unless plugged into wall?
I want to be able to bring my iHome outside and play my iPod but my iPod won't play unless the iHome is plugged into an outlet. I have batteries in it so I don't understand why I can't play music unless it's plugged in. The iHome stays on and works when it's unplugged (since there's batteries in it) but it won't play the iPod. I've had it for a few years and it has always been like this. Is there something wrong with it or do iHomes just not play iPods unless they're plugged into a wall? That would be really stupid if that's the case!

I had this problem too, and was rather upset as well, but i have learned that if you unplug the iHome, it will keep the time and all your alarms and whatnots set, so when you plug it back in, it will still have the proper time and such.
