Question about eyeshadow...?

Ok sooo I have my first formal dance coming up in June (I'm 14) and I'm wondering what type of eye shadow I should use. My dress is blue, my accessories silver, and I have blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. I want to go easy on the make-up, so I'm just wearing some foundation, pressed powder, and mascara. But I also want to wear eye shadow so I was wondering 1.) what the best color for me would be 2.)what brand you would suggest (I can't get anything too expensive, something in the CoverGirl range) and 3.) the best way to apply it. Thanks!

You should get Almay's color highlights for blue eyes. It apparently brightens the eyes. I myself havent tried it, but Almay can be found at Walmart for cheap prices. If you want a more natural look, go for this because it accentuates your natural features.

What you could do is get any type of sea blue/dark blue and light blue eye shadow. Then with the light blue cover your eye up to the crease with it, lightly so that you can see it (but not to much), then with the sea-blue/dark blue get a clean brush and rub it in the eye shadow so that you have a fair amount on it, and to get excess of just tap it on the side of a hard object (or blow) the brush, then in the corner of your eye go really blue and start to fade as you get further away. Hope fully you no what I am trying to say, but to add effect add eye liner on either the bottom or top lid of your eye, not both if you want a light look, just so that your eye stands out a little. But not in a heavy way. You could try this out in other colours depending on what suits the outfit.

Maybe practice and you may get more ideas from it, has this helped, and enjoy the dance! x

I would do a blue, silver and white combo. Try almay. it comes with 4 dif shades and then gives you a look to do on the back. my friend has it and it looks very good
